Sydenham Street United Church is a progressive Christian faith community that stands with others to work for healing, justice and wholeness for the world and for creation itself.

We actively seek partnerships with other faith traditions to build understanding and achieve common goals.

We seek to practice the inclusiveness of Jesus by welcoming and celebrating diversity including: ableness, age, class, ethnic origin, gender identity, marital status, race and sexual orientation.

We aspire to be a nurturing congregation where all are loved and cared for, empowered and encouraged in their spiritual journey to experience God more deeply and serve God more faithfully,

With humility, we ask for God’s love, forgiveness, power and a sense of humour to be the face of Christ in the world.
